Tigger is a fictional tiger character originally created by A.A. Milne in his Winnie-the-Pooh books. He is known for his energetic and bouncy personality, frequently expressing his love for bouncing.
Tigger first appeared in the 1928 book, The House at Pooh Corner, quickly becoming a beloved member of the Hundred Acre Wood gang. He is characterized by his orange and black stripes, long tail, and signature phrase, "Hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!"
Adaptations of Winnie-the-Pooh stories have featured Tigger prominently. He has appeared in numerous Disney animated films, television series, and merchandise. His boisterous and often reckless behavior provides comedic relief and often leads to misadventures alongside Pooh and the other characters.
Tigger's defining trait remains his boundless enthusiasm and unwavering belief that bouncing is "what Tiggers do best." He often tries to involve others in his bouncing activities, though not always with success. He's a friend who's never boring!
